In modern power electronic systems, SiC MOSFETs and IGBTs are core power devices. SiC is characterised by high efficiency, high switching frequencies, and high-temperature tolerance. IGBT technology is mature and highly cost-effective. These two technologies jointly drive improvements in system performance.

However, it is crucial to match these power devices with efficient, reliable and flexible driver circuits in order to fully release their potential. Market demands for power semiconductor driver solutions continue to grow, requiring not only high system reliability to ensure long-term stable operation, but also optimized cost with performance maintained. At the same time, the driver solution must also meet a variety of requirements for different devices (such as SiC and IGBT) and complex topologies (such as three-level).

Bronze Technologies has designed the 2xD0210T12x0 driver specifically for the application requirements above. This solution is equipped with the core chip BTD5350 (BASiC Semiconductor driver IC) and BTP1521 (BASiC Semiconductor forward power IC).
